If you ever wondered about what an end of times scene might look like, look no further than your local Wal-Mart parking lot.
Behold the macabre scene I happened upon this morning. A massive pile of as-yet un-melted filthy snow packed tightly with not only with dirt and pollution, but various forms of litter, detritus and debris. The pile below was being visited upon by ravens and seagulls, who unhurriedly took their leave when I approached.
Festooned on top of this putrid hideous mess is a lone iconic upended shopping cart.
